Amid the accelerating global wave of green, digital, and intelligent infrastructure development, the 17th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum & Exhibition (IIICF) was grandly held in Macao from June 10 to 12. Under the theme of “Connectivity of Infrastructure, Empowerment by Green and Digital Technologies,” the event brought together leading global infrastructure organizations, including Huawei, LiuGong Group, and FDN (Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional). In his speech, Wen Peng highlighted SRON’s three core technology systems. The Smart Storage and Handling Management Platform, powered by digital twin technology and intelligent inspection systems, enables end-to-end intelligent control of material handling operations and is widely adaptable to diverse scenarios such as overseas industrial parks and port-based industrial hubs. The PV Energy Storage Microgrid System helps infrastructure projects reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, aligning closely with the global trend toward sustainable development. Meanwhile, SRON’s full-chain EPC storage and handling solution provides a one-stop approach to addressing industry challenges such as dust emissions during storage, material losses, and inefficient material transfer. He emphasized that storage and handling infrastructure for bulk materials—including grain, building materials, minerals, and coal—is closely linked to economic development and public well-being. In recent years, as a representative category of “small and beautiful” infrastructure projects, such facilities have attracted growing attention and recognition from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, driven by their practical value in enhancing resource security, logistics efficiency, and sustainable development.
