To ensure the continuity of cement production, the production line is equipped with a clinker silo designed to meet 7-14 days' worth of cement production. A large silo storage capacity facilitates production scheduling.
The clinker silo is a crucial structure in cement plants. Its capacity and design vary depending on the size of the plant, with single silo storage capacities ranging from 2000t to 50,000t and silo diameters ranging from 12m to 40m. The tallest silo can reach up to 40m in height. The capacity and configuration of the clinker silo are determined through comprehensive evaluations of the production process, technology, and economics.
Clinker is loaded into the silo from the top and discharged from the bottom. As a result, there is space on the silo roof and either an overhead platform or a conveying trench at the bottom of the silo.
