SRON Chairman Wen Peng Attends 10th China-Russia Expo, Shares Chinese Solutions for Smart Storage and Transportation
From May 17 to 18, Mr. Wen Peng, Chairman of Henan SRON Silo Engineering Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the 10th China-Russia Expo and a series of high-level business events. He delivered keynote speeches at the “China-Russia Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference” and the “Seizing New Opportunities in Exporting to China: Russia Agricultural Products Export to China Matchmaking Conference.” Addressing government representatives and industry peers from both nations, Mr. Wen shared SRON’s cutting-edge technologies, systematic solutions, and extensive global engineering experience in the field of smart storage and transportation for grain and bulk materials.

In his speeches at both events, Chairman Wen Peng emphasized that food security is the cornerstone of long-term national stability. He noted that China and Russia, as neighbors with highly complementary resources, hold immense potential for agricultural and economic cooperation. He further pointed out that modern storage facilities and efficient logistics systems are the core pillars for ensuring food security, reducing storage and transportation losses, and facilitating smooth cross-border trade.
Mr. Wen stated that SRON is built on the core philosophy of “Low-carbon, Intelligent, and EPC.” The company focuses on smart storage and transportation for bulk materials in sectors such as grain, minerals, coal, and building materials. SRON provides comprehensive EPC contracting services, including silos, enclosed stockyards, loading and transfer systems, and port handling, which are backed by one-stop, full-chain capabilities spanning design, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and operation & maintenance. By integrating technologies like IoT, digital twins, AI, drone inspection, and photovoltaic energy storage, the company has developed a smart storage and transportation management system that achieves intelligent control and visualized operations throughout the entire process. Notably, its insulation silo technology for extremely cold regions is industry-leading: for 5,000-ton silos, the thermal bridge (or cold bridge) heat transfer area is controlled to just 0.1㎡, an advantage more than ten times greater than that of competitors, making it highly adaptable to the specific needs of Russia.

Currently, SRON’s overseas business spans over 40 countries and regions. The company has successfully built more than 1,000 intelligent silos with a total storage capacity exceeding 3 million tons, placing its technology, qualifications, and international engineering experience at the forefront of China’s domestic industry. SRON has obtained EU CE and EAC certifications and established a branch in Greenwood Moscow, marking a significant strategic layout in the Russian market. In his concluding remarks, Mr. Wen stated that SRON will leverage its technological and engineering strengths to empower China-Russia industrial collaboration, contributing SRON’s strength to deepening bilateral agricultural trade cooperation and stabilizing the grain supply chain.
