On August 8, 2026, the Scholarship Award Ceremony of the Wen Surname Committee of Henan Surname Culture Research Association under the theme “Carrying Forward Wen Heritage, Empowering Future Dreams” was grandly held at Henan SRON Silo Engineering Co., Ltd. Organized by the Wen Surname Committee of Henan Surname Culture Research Association, the event was hosted by SRON as the organizer and a caring enterprise dedicated to promoting the implementation of the Wen family’s public welfare scholarship program. Wen Peng, Chairman of the Wen Surname Committee of Henan Surname Culture Research Association and Chairman of SRON, attended the ceremony. Members of the committee leadership team and all sponsored Wen family students participated in the event, which was presided over by Wen Hongliang, Secretary of the Committee’s Party Branch.

On August 6, Liang Jieyi, Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, and Wang Zi, Deputy Director of the Asia-Africa Division, along with their delegation, visited Henan SRON Silo Engineering Co., Ltd. for research and guidance. Recently, a delegation from the Lesotho Post-harvest Grain Security Technology Seminar—a foreign aid training program hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by Henan University of Technology—visited Henan SRON Silo Engineering Co., Ltd. (SRON). The visit focused on technical exchanges regarding post-harvest grain security guarantees, the application of modern grain storage technologies, and the construction of international grain supply chains. This exchange aimed to strengthen the sharing of experience between China and Lesotho in the field of grain storage and transportation, promote the deep integration of China’s advanced grain warehousing technology with international grain security needs, and contribute Chinese technological strength to enhancing the resilience of the global grain supply chain.

On July 9, amid the sustained high temperatures of 37°C in Zhengzhou, SRON joined hands with Henan TV to launch the “10,000 Catties of Watermelons · Supporting Farmers with Love” public welfare campaign. The company purchased more than 10,000 catties (5,000 kilograms) of locally grown watermelons from Henan and distributed them to frontline workers and community residents in Erqi District and Guancheng District who remained dedicated to their posts during the heatwave, providing tangible support to farmers, easing their difficulties, and bringing care and warmth to the community.

Recently, the Philippine Nickel Ore Drying System Project, undertaken by Henan SRON Silo Engineering Co., Ltd. (SRON), successfully completed its overall loading and shipment. The project’s core equipment and system components were dispatched in a single batch via a chartered vessel. Compared with the traditional mode of shared shipments and batch transportation commonly used in bulk material engineering projects, this shipping method further demonstrates the enhancement of SRON’s comprehensive capabilities in project organization and systematic delivery for large-scale overseas engineering projects.

On June 24, the two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Investment and Business Forum opened in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The forum was jointly organized by the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The opening ceremony was attended by and featured remarks from Kyrgyz First Deputy Prime Minister Amangeldiev, Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan Sabirov, and Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). More than 600 representatives from government and business communities gathered to explore new opportunities for investment cooperation. As a representative of the intelligent bulk material storage and handling industry, SRON Chairman Wen Peng was invited to attend the forum and delivered a keynote speech at the session titled “Green Transformation and Digital Autonomy: New Industrialization in SCO Countries.”
