From April 27 to 29, the 11th Business Conference and the 9th Investment Seminar of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum were held in Haikou. Jiang Zuojun, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, attended the opening ceremony of the conference and delivered a speech. Ren Hongbin, President of the CCPIT, Feng Fei, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, Khalid Hanafi, Secretary General of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture for Arab Countries, the head of the Arab League delegation and ministerial officials of relevant countries delivered speeches in succession. Liu Xiaoming, Governor of Hainan Province, presided over the opening ceremony. More than 1,000 representatives from the political and business circles at home and abroad attended the conference. On 16th April, the 2025 Henan Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Innovation and Development Conference was held in Zhengzhou, where 400 innovative entrepreneurs from Henan Province, representatives of private enterprises and SMEs gathered to discuss the future. On 10th April, China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Sustainable Development Industry Cooperation Conference was held in Tianjin Binhai New Area. The conference was commissioned by the Ministry of Commerce and co-organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery & Electronic Products (referred to as CCCME), Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Binhai New Area Government, aiming to implement the cooperation and action plan under the framework of the 2025 "SCO Sustainable Development Year".
